Clash of Clans January Balance Changes: What You Need to Know!

Hey fellow Clashers! As we dive into the new year, Supercell has dropped a fresh set of balance changes that are sure to shake up our attack strategies. As we push trophies and defend our bases, it's essential to stay on top of these updates. Let's break down the key changes and explore how they'll impact our gameplay.

Troops & Super Troops: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

The Meteor Golem has taken a hit, with its damage against walls reduced by 50% at all levels. This change will undoubtedly force us to rethink our wall-breaking strategies. On the other hand, the Druid has received some significant buffs, including increased healing per second, hero healing, and bear HP and DPS. These updates will make the Druid an even more formidable force on the battlefield.

The Super Witch has also received some love, with increased HP and DPS for level 7. Additionally, the Super Witch Big Boy now has increased housing space, making it a more viable option for our armies. The Super Giant has seen some improvements as well, with increased HP and DPS for level 14. Lastly, the Electro Dragon has received a boost to its HP and DPS across levels 1-9.

Hero Equipment: New Tools for Our Heroes

The Heroic Torch (Grand Warden) has been revamped, with increased HP and DPS, as well as improved HP regain on activation and duration. The Life Gem (Grand Warden) has also seen some changes, with increased extra HP and HP cap for levels 1-7. Furthermore, the LavaLoon (Grand Warden) now spawns more LavaLoons for levels 21-27, making it an even more formidable tool in our arsenal.

The Hog Puppet (Royal Champion) has received some updates as well, with increased Hog Rider level and number of Hog Riders for levels 1-7. These changes will undoubtedly impact our attack strategies, especially when it comes to using our Heroes effectively.

Pets: Our Faithful Companions

Our beloved pets have also received some updates. The Lassi has seen increased HP and DPS across levels 1-15, making it an even more reliable companion on the battlefield. The Sneezy has also been tweaked, with its boogers no longer triggering traps. This change will require us to adapt our defensive strategies to counter the Sneezy's new abilities.

Siege Machines and Spells: The Game-Changers

The Wall Wrecker has been improved, with increased HP and DPS for levels 5 and 6. This update will make the Wall Wrecker an even more effective tool for breaking through walls. The Totem Spell has also been changed, with its HP now decaying per second. This alteration will require us to use the Totem Spell more strategically, taking into account its limited duration.

Guardians: The Defenders of Our Bases

The Longshot has seen some significant nerfs, with reduced attack range, search radius, alert range, and splash damage radius. On the other hand, the Smasher has been buffed, with increased attack range and alert range. These changes will undoubtedly impact our base defense strategies, especially when it comes to using our Guardians effectively.

As we navigate these balance changes, it's essential to stay flexible and adapt our strategies accordingly. Supercell will continue to monitor the meta and make adjustments as needed. Let's keep the feedback coming, and let's work together to make Clash of Clans the best it can be!
