TH9 Core Defender CoC War Base Layout 2026 Copy Link

As a Town Hall 9 player in Clash of Clans, one of the biggest challenges is defending against Balloon attacks, especially when they're paired with Witches or Valkyries. To effectively counter these raids, it's crucial to have a well-designed War Base that utilizes X-Bows and other defensive buildings to control the pathing of these powerful troops.

A key aspect of a successful TH9 War Base is the strategic placement of the Defenses, which can be used to lure Balloons into kill zones or distract them while the rest of the base's defenses focus on taking out the supporting troops. By combining a smart Defenses placement with a Base design that funnels Balloons into the range of X-Bows and other defensive buildings, TH9 players can significantly improve their chances of defending against these difficult attacks and maintaining a strong position in the Clash of Clans rankings.

• Using X-Bows to take out Balloons quickly and efficiently is crucial, but it's also important to consider the role of supporting defenses like Cannons and Archer Towers in taking out smaller troops and preventing them from reaching the Core of the Base. This is a vital strategy for Clash of Clans TH9 layouts.
• By carefully designing the compartments and Walls of the Base to control the pathing of Balloons and other troops, TH9 players can create a highly effective War Base that protects their resources and Town Hall from even the toughest attackers in Clash of Clans.
