TH5 Core Defender CoC War Base Layout 2026 Copy Link

As a TH5 player in Clash of Clans, designing a solid War base is crucial to preventing those pesky 3-star attacks, especially during Trophy pushes. At Town Hall 5, we have to rely on clever Bomb and Spring Trap placements to catch those Goblins and Giants before they can do significant damage. This Clan War-specific layout focuses on low-level funneling mechanics, using our limited defenses like Cannons, Archer Towers, and Mortars to maximum effect.

In a TH5 War base, it's essential to understand the pathing and compartmentalization that will lead attackers into our traps. By placing Bombs and Spring Traps in key areas, we can take out large groups of Barbarians or Giants quickly, reducing the pressure on our defensive buildings. As CoC players, we know that a well-designed base can be the difference between winning and losing in Trophy pushes, and at TH5, every advantage counts.

At Town Hall 5 in Clash of Clans, resource management is also critical, as we need to balance Gold and Elixir production and storage. A good War layout should protect these resources while also being difficult for the attacker to navigate. By mastering the basics of trap placement and funneling at TH5, we can create a nearly impenetrable base that will serve us well in both Trophy pushes and regular multiplayer battles, making us a formidable opponent in the world of CoC.
