Description & Defense Strategy

Mortar and Air Defense to control the pathing of enemy troops and protect your resources. This TH5 war layout focuses on preventing 3-star attacks by funneling Giants and Balloons into kill zones where your Cannons, Archer Towers, and traps can take them out efficiently.

Giants and Balloons move and how Wall Breakers are used to breach your base, you can set up compartments and funneling paths that lead these troops into areas where your defenses are strongest. The Mortar is particularly effective against groups of Barbarians or Archers that might be used to clear a path for the Giants, while the Air Defense protects against Balloons and other air units. Proper placement of these defenses, along with Bombs and Spring Traps, can significantly enhance your base's durability against a variety of TH5 troops.

The placement of Mortars in a way that they can cover the entire base or at least the core where your most valuable resources are stored is critical.
