In this TH7 war base I break down why the layout works for Clash of Clans players looking to neutralize Hog Rider packs while keeping a solid defense against Giants and other common war troops.

The core of the anti Hog Rider strategy is a double layered Giant Bomb corridor that forces the Hog Rider pack into a predictable path; the first bomb eliminates the lead rider and the second finishes the remainder. Surrounding the corridor are Wizard Tower and Archer Tower to mop up any stray Barbarian or Archer, and a well placed Air Defense blocks stray Balloon support. The layout’s compartments keep Giants from reaching the core until the bombs have done their job. This is a vital strategy for Clash of Clans TH7 layouts.

On the outer ring I tuck the Barbarian King behind a Cannon and a Mortar so he can pull any surviving Hog Riders that slip through, while the Gold and Elixir storages sit in the opposite corner behind a wall ring and a Hidden Tesla.
